Robert Arello Jr. likes his company to take on challenging jobs, such as using a helicopter to hydro-seed mountainous areas of Colorado that were scorched by forest fire, or stabilizing and growing grass on steep embankments formed when highways are cut into hillsides.
So when he had the chance to turn desert sands into a golf course in Dubai, he shipped tons of equipment to the United Arab Emirates and, along with two employees, set out to hydro-seed about 100 acres of a course designed by PGA player Greg Norman.
